OneOf, an eco-conscious NFT platform, has entered into a partnership with Warner Music Group (WMG) on a new initiative focused WMG's catalog of music, Variety has learned.

According to WMG Executive Vice President Oana Ruxandra, the NFTs will give the company's artists an "edge in more authentically building one-to-one relationships with their fans." Ruxandra added:

Web3 is a massive leap forward in technology: it will expand the scale and scope of both human and machine interactions far beyond what we can imagine today.

While it remains unclear when NFTs might arrive on OneOf, the tokens will allegedly be minted on Tezos, a blockchain network selected by the platform for all its digital collectibles.

The initiative comes shortly after WMG partnered with The Sandbox to build its own music-themed world in the metaverse. With The Sandbox, WMG reportedly plans to develop immersive social music experiences that defy real-world limitations and allow artists to engage with their fans.
