Twitter is working on a dedicated tab for podcasts in mobile apps to strengthen its presence in the social audio space, TechCrunch reports.
Mobile developer and researcher Alessandro Paluzzi wrote in a tweet that the social media giant is testing the feature between selected users.
While no details were revealed so far, a spokesperson for Twitter told TechCrunch that the company is always exploring new ways to "help people engage in the conversation on Twitter, but have no further details to share at this time."

The report notes that Twitter has been working on a number of podcast-like features for a long time now. For example, Twitter now allows users to listen to Spaces after the live recording, which is similar to how it works in Clubhouse.
Twitter is also rolling out a feature that allows hosts to view listening stats about their recorded Spaces, TechCrunch added.
