Willa, a payments platform, has launched its own airline for creators called Willa Air with the first free flight to Coachella, CNBC Make It has learned.

The first voyage — which will take 12 influencers to Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival — is scheduled for April 15. It will include a pre-flight lounge meet at Willa's lounge in Venice and a luxury transfer to Van Nuys Airport. The event also has a post-festival weekend detox with IV drips and a juice bar at the company's Venice Beach lounge in Los Angeles.

According to the website's FAQ, only those social media creators in the US who are 18 or older, are eligible for the campaign. Although Willa didn't elaborate on specifics for creators (e.g. subscribers amount), it said those, who make more payment requests via Willa, will increase their chances of getting a ticket to Willa Air.

Aron Levin, Co-Founder of Willa, said in a press release that the company came up with the idea of its own airline to provide "superfast and convenient travel for the content creators who are jetting off to events across the US." He added:

Willa was founded with the mission of helping creators, and quick, seamless travel is one of the many ways we are supporting our audience.

Founded in 2019, Willa is designed to simplify the process of invoicing. The company charges a 2.9% fee for every instant transaction but provides a payment gateway to get paid in less than 30 minutes after posting the invoice.
