Netgear is doubling down on digital art as the company announced at CES 2022 plans to integrate non-fungible tokens (NFTs) into the Meural Frame, a smart frame for digital photos.

While the exact release date of the new feature remains undisclosed, The Verge has learned that the San Jose-based company wants to begin beta testing integration between the smart frame and the MetaMask wallet in January already. It remains unclear though if Netgear plans to expand support for other cryptocurrency wallets, such as Coinbase Wallet, Ledger, and so on.
