Netflix plans to acquire Next Games, a developer of free-to-play mobile games, for an undisclosed price, the company said in a blog post. Mike Verdu, Vice President of Games at Netflix, said that the company has entered into an agreement to acquire Next Games.

According to a press release, Next Games shareholders will receive $2.3 in cash per share of Next Games, for a total equity value of approximately $72 million.

Founded in 2013, the Helsinki-based company developed "The Walking Dead: No Man's Land." In 2017, Next Games floated on the NASDAQ First North under the ticker NXTGMS, becoming Finland's first publicly-traded game developer.
