Marvel Studios co-founder Ari Arad will make a movie based on Huxley, an Ethereum NFT comic book series by artist Ben Mauro, Decrypt reports. Arad Productions studio will reportedly make the movie with production studio Feature and Academy Award-nominated VFX supervisor Jerome Chen.
The upcoming movie has already got its first teaser trailer, featuring a fight between humanoid-like creatures and robots in a post-apocalyptic world.
According to the description of HUXLEY on OpenSea, the collection represents Mauro's experience "gathered as senior concept designer behind gaming dynasties Halo and Call of Duty, feature films such as The Hobbit Series and Elysium."
No release date for the movie has been announced as the sides plan first to release interactive metaverse experiences later this year. It remains unclear though what exactly the Huxley-themed metaverse will look like. As of press time, the collection's volume reached the 2,100 ETH ($5.8 million) mark.
