LinkedIn brings its 10-week global Creator Accelerator Programme to India as the platform wants to help creators build communities, The Times of India reports. LinkedIn launched the program in the US in September last year as part of its $25 million commitment to global creators.

Ashutosh Gupta, India Country Manager at LinkedIn, said the Creator Accelerator Program aims to help members "unlock greater business opportunities with the content they're making and the conversations they're sparking."

The Mountain View-based company reportedly plans to support up to 200 creators in India during the initiative. The creators will be selected depending on their ability to build communities, unique content and spark discussions around a variety of professional topics. The deadline for applications is set for March 16, 2022.
