Bulgari, an Italian luxury brand, is celebrating the 10th Anniversary of its Octo Finissimo collection with the world's thinnest mechanical watch called Octo Finissimo Ultra, Gizmodo reports.
The new watch is made from sandblasted titanium case and is just 1.8mm slim. But the main feature is in the deal — Bulgari put there a QR code that links to NFT artworks.

As per reports, the Octo Finissimo Ultra has a 50-hour power reserve on a full wind using a large mainspring barrel. Bulgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin says the latest benchmark is "in fact for me and for all the teams an apparently impossible dream come true." Babin added:
One that guarantees that Bulgari will forever be recognized as a company that has written some of the finest pages in Swiss watchmaking. And the fact that this is an Italian house makes us particularly proud.
The watch is limited to 10 pieces and is available only via Bulgari's official website at a price tag of $440,000.

Although Bulgari might seem like a pioneer on the market of physical watches, NFTs are nothing new to the luxury watch industry. In March 2021, the Bigger Bang All Black Tourbillon Chronograph Special Piece was offered by Jean-Claude Biver on OpenSea. However, later the auction was canceled for an unknown reason.
