Meta has registered its products on TikTok as the battle for creators is heating up. According to Adweek, Meta's Facebook and Instagram created verified accounts on TikTok with 19,700 and 1,035 subscribers respectively.

As of press time, neither Facebook nor Instagram made any official announcements about new communications channels. However, a spokesperson for Meta told Adweek that the company wants to establish a brand presence and cultivate communities on platforms like TikTok or others. They added:

Brands leverage a variety of channels, including some of our social media platforms, to reach and engage with the people using their products and services every day.

The move comes after Instagram launched a new hub called Creator Lab that shares insights and exclusive content from successful creators. As To The Moon earlier reported, the new arm includes video explainers from established Instagram stars about how creators can boost their content monetization, optimization, and techniques to grow subscribers.

In the meantime, Aston Martin selected TikTok as its official creator partner for its Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant F1 car launch. The 109-year-old British car manufacturer from now on will support its F1 brand via TikTok as it will be the primary tool for its creator-led strategy.
