Epic's Fortnite has culminated its fundraising campaign for Ukraine relief by reaching the $144 million mark.

The funds will reportedly go toward aid groups, including Direct Relief, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the United Nations Children’s Fund, and the World Food Programme.

Epic is not alone in its efforts as other game developers also joined the initiative. For example, the League of Legends creator Riot Games raised $5.4 million total in funds to support humanitarian efforts in Eastern Europe. Itch.io developers also managed to raise over $6 million for charities providing relief in Ukraine.

In early March, members of the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) joined global efforts to support Ukraine amid the ongoing geopolitical disaster. A community spokesperson wrote in a tweet that the holders of cartoon apes donated over $1 million in ether (ETH) to Ukraine's official ETH address.
