Dogecoin Co-Founder Billy Markus (also known as Shibetoshi Nakamoto) has once again criticized the crypto community saying that 95% of projects are "scams and garbage" as "most crypto people are assholes."

Although it is unclear what content the Dogecoin Co-Founder was referring to, his statements drew Elon Musk's attention, who was brief posting a "rolling on the floor laughing" emoji:

Markus went on in a follow-up tweet to say that the DOGE cryptocurrency was "literally made as satire because crypto is 95% scams and garbage."

This is not the first time Markus criticizes the crypto community. In December 2021, he reiterated he will never return to work on Dogecoin as working on a crypto project "is terrible as i have actually found the more you do for people, the more entitled they get and worse they treat you." However, he admitted he would still support those developers interested in the Dogecoin ecosystem.

Elon Musk is a big fan of Dogecoin. In May last year, he suggested that developers should bring more utility to the project, praising for the idea to change Dogecoin fees depending on the phases of the moon.
