Disney is reportedly in talks with blockchain developers to buy a whole collection of non-fungible tokens, Outlier Ventures CEO Jamie Burke wrote on Twitter. He didn't elaborate about the source of the rumor but noted that if it happens it would be the "biggest deal to date for the industry."

Crypto Twitter almost immediately went nuts speculating the deal. Some noted that Pixar dropped the Pixar on Pals NFT collection on VeVe, but Burke added Disney isn't in talks with VeVe about the purchase.
The other recalled that Former CEO & Chairman of the Walt Disney Company Robert Iger previously met with Akash Nigam, founder of Genies, a digital avatar app for NFTs.

The discussions came after Yuga Labs, the company behind the Bored Ape Yacht Club collection, purchased the rights to the intellectual property of CryptoPunks and Meebits from Larva Labs for an undisclosed price.
