Instagram has started featuring non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in the form of a post as the social network is testing support for digital collectibles between select users only. A token from the Boss Beauties collection can now be seen in the project's feed.

The picture of an NFT differs from regular posts with the "digital collectible" sign and the check symbols on the bottom left. By tapping it, a modal box pops up containing a description of the collection and the token's number.

Boss Beauties holders get utilities like tickets to the collection's exclusive music festival, other NFT drops and licensing rights, the collection's description says on OpenSea. As of press time, the NFT collection has a trading volume of around 15,000 ETHs.

The move comes after Instagram announced it had started testing NFTs with select users in the US. The social network already allows users to feature digital collectibles minted on such blockchain networks as Ethereum and Polygon, with Flow and Solana coming soon.
